Rhyolite

Among domestic materials, we would like to highlight the natural stone rhyolite, which we quarry ourselves at Hliník nad Hronom. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use even in harsh conditions: it withstands heavy loads, is frost-resistant and has many other qualities for use in the landscape, in river regulation and in building protective embankments and walls. It has an attractive grey-pink colour and occurs in porous and dense varieties. Rhyolite is ideal for non-slip outdoor paving, attractive garden and park landscaping, urban features, bridges, retaining walls and cladding, as well as for exclusive interior designs and as a decorative and building stone. It is suitable for cladding fireplaces, cellar vaults, plinths and fences, and for paving terraces and footpaths. We make sawn, ground and polished paving and cladding from it, as well as split products such as setts, strips and rubble stones for all of the uses above. It is also worth mentioning that sculptors like to use this stone for artworks – memorials, monuments, garden sculptures and more.

Rhyolite – a Slovak natural stone with a 700-year tradition – is our company's main product line. Especially in recent years it has established itself successfully on the Slovak market in both large and small orders.
